Preparation of Fahita Red:
- 800g Chicken breast fillet, cut strips
- 0.25 Cup Lemon juice
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 30g Fahita Spices (Reef Garden)
- 2 Fresh Paprika red & green
- 1 Big Onion, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 tsp (Reef Garden) Chicken Stock Powder
- 1 Cup Water
- 2 tsp Corn Flour
- 1 Avocado, ripe and mashed
- 0.5 Cup Labneh
- 10 Pieces Flour Tortillas
- 1 Small Lettuce, finely chopped
In a bowl, combine lemon juice, garlic and (Reef Garden) Fahita Spices 30g. Add chicken strips, red and green Paprika slices and Onion slices, Stir well to combine. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
Warm olive oil in a large nonstick pan, add and cook chicken strips with the Paprika and Onion slices, Stir the ingredients over medium heat for 6-8 min. until well cooked.
In a small bowl, mix 4 tsp (Reef Garden) Chicken Stock Powder Bouillon, water, and corn flour to form a sauce. Pour the sauce over the ingredients in the pan. Bring to boil and cook for 2 min. until
the sauce thickens.
Combine mashed avocado and labneh or sour cream in a small bowl. Spread a spoon of labneh over warm tortilla bread, add some lettuce and some chicken fahita mixture.
Fahita Toppings: Sour cream, Guacamole, Shredded Cheddar.
